5K and Half Marathon training classes coming soon! Classes are scheduled to begin in late August. Runners can register at The RUNNER in Arlington. Participants of all levels welcome. Run with your friends and make new ones on June 3 when the 12-race Trinity 5000 Summer Series Race Series at the Trinity Trails in Fort Worth begins. The Thursday night races are a great way to stay in shape during the hot days of summer as well as visit before and after the races. Run or walk the 5K and bring the kids for the free 1K before the 5K. All levels of runners and walkers are welcome for the 12-race series. Participants can register for individual races or save money and register for the series. Also, points are awarded at each race and series winners are determined by the best 8 of 11 finishes. The final race on Aug. 19 is used as a tie-breaker, if needed. So, put the remote aside and join us for some exercise and camaraderie. See more information at www.trinity5000.com.
