Before the temperature was too hot, runners helped celebrate Memorial Day by participating in the Peaceful Tomorrows With Our Troops & Vets 5K in Grand Prairie. Winning the men's race was Sal Perdomo in 17:43 while Nicole Eckles took the women's title in 19:50.
