![]() Andrew Cook ran for Texas A&M and is now the track and cross country coach at Pilot Point High School. Andrew is considered one, if not the one, of the runners to beat in area race. He proved it by winning the San Francisco Marathon on July 30 in 2:26:45. He was at 1:13:13 at the halfway point. Andrew has qualified for the 2008 Olympic Marathon Trials. He has won several D-FW titles this year, including the Xsightment 5K and Heartbeat 5K. |

Kevin, who moved to this area from Michigan in 2005, said he ran 5Ks in the low 15- to high 14-minute range while in college, but is not in that kind of condition now and was in the 18-minute range in early 2006. He ran with shoes during college, but believes sans shoes is better. |

![]() If you don't know Frances McKissick, then you just haven't been to any road races. The masters runner could be a stand-in for the Eveready Energizer battery bunny. She never stops. She races almost every weekend and sometimes more than one race a weekend. Besides winning many women's masters titles, she also collects women's overall trophies. |
![]() Keith Pierce is a former Rice runner who won the Big D Texas Half Marathon. The Krum coach was the fastest Texan in the 2006 Boston Marathon with a 2:27:17, which was good for 36th overall. |
![]() Clint Bell, a former Dallas Christian and SMU runner, is one of the faster runners in the D-FW area and a contender for the overall title in any race he enters. He has won several races this year, including the Dino Dash 5K in Dallas and Hit The Bricks in Fort Worth. |
Mark Miller, former Boyd High School standout who lives in Carrollton, has won several overall titles this year, including the Mayfest 10K, Azle Lake Run 10K, and the Flagpole 8K. He will be among the top finishers in any race he enters. |
George Lutkenhaus is a former North Texas University runner who is the track, cross country coach at Sanger High School. He, as Keith Pierce, the Krum coach, might not enter a lot of area road races, but he is formidable competition when he does. He won the Fort Worth Runners Club 3 Amigos 4-Mile event in 22:20. |
