Turner celebrates by winning women's title at Fort Worth Can Academy 5K

Cora Turner of Alvarado turned 40 Saturday (May 30) and celebrated by winning the women's overall title at the Fort Worth Can Academy 5K in 19:24.5. She is second in the women's 35-39 age division in the Fastest Times at Metroplex races and now jumps to the front of the 40-44 division. Other winners at the race conducted at Trinity Park included men's champ Kevin Delaney of Wilmington, N.C., in 17:57.9. Masters winners were Todd Reynolds of Benbrook in 18:41.4 and Fiona Green of Keller in 20:34.4.
